ATV & UTV Buffing Options
Molded Mohawk
We carry in stock our own brand name of a 21x7x10 Molded tire with a Mohawk already on it. This tire can be sold as is, or we can buff the sides in our regular Smooth Buff option, or we can Smooth Buff Bead to Bead.
Bead to Bead Buff
We can buff your tire from one bead of side wall all the way to the other side bead removing all writing, tire size, and manufacturer information from the tire. We can do this option in either the Smooth Buff, Ruff Buff, or Super Light Smooth buff option. Any Front or Rear ATV or UTV tire can be buffed Bead to Bead.
Smooth Buff
Our “Smooth Buff” buffing rasp is a finer grit/grain, and is comparable to sand paper more like a smoother finer 220 grit. This Buff style must be requested on any orders, it is not standard. It is mainly used on Front tires but can be requested on rears as well.
Ruff Buff
Our “Ruff Buff” buffing rasp is a coarser grit/grain, and is comparable to sand paper more like a rough 80 grit. Our Ruff Buff is very popular in our UTV applications with 4-wheel drive, as this Ruff Buff used on Front Tires does have a little bit of traction. Our Ruff Buff is our standard buff and comes stock on all our rear Paddle Tire options unless specially requested otherwise.
Super Light Smooth Buff
Our “Super Light Smooth Buff” buffing rasp is a finer grit/grain, and is comparable to sand paper more like a smoother finer 220 grit. However, as we hand buff the Smooth Buff finish onto the tire we also remove a lot more of the rubber on the tire casing to make it very thin and Super Light in weight. This Buffing style must be requested on any orders, it is not standard. There is no warranty on Super Light Smooth buff tires, and the paddles are not repairable if damaged as the tire casing is too thin to remove the damaged paddle. Super Light Smooth tires take longer than normal to produce in production and generally have a minimum of a 3 to 4 week wait time.
Staggered Paddle Option
If the tire is wide enough to allow it, we can stagger any of our paddles onto your tire for no additional charge
Kevlar
For an additional charge, we can add a layer of Kevlar into the raw rubber before we vulcanize the paddle of your choice onto the tire to create tremendous strength, rigidity, and durability over the life of your tire.
